Noise

Noise induced hearing loss (NOISE)  is a preventable injury, yet Americans are now beginning to experience its consequences in near epidemic proportions. The carpenters, metal workers and plumbers who have historically suffered the effects of NOISE are now being joined by increasing numbers of musicians and young people who push the new sound technologies to dangerous levels. The avoidance of, and protection against, NOISE is one of the most pressing issues in workplace safety.
