Ergonomics

Ergonomics is the science that examines the way our bodies interact with things.  Ergonomics affects everyone from the cradle to the grave. Our modular programs are training tools that can form the basis of a learning experience not only for workers, employers and regulators, but also for young people, to acquaint them with the world of work and the value of scientific inquiry: in other words, the basis for school curricula.

Who Would Benefit from this Module?

Ergonomics issues affect all of us : from those who lift loads to those of us who sit in front of computers. The highest risk occupations among men are construction laborers, carpenters and industrial truck and tractor equipment operators and automobile mechanics.  Among women, nurses, orderlies, maids, janitors, cleaners and hairdressers are run the highest risk.
